As we are still in the process of mixing our second cd, we thought it might be fun to go back into the studio to record an all acoustic ep for our fans. We've got some new songs that are more acoustic oriented, and would really be cool for us to be able to release those to our fans.
If you like the idea of having more Soulshine music, please let us know.
We are planning on hitting the studio in August to start this. We should be done with it by the end of August and have it available by September.

We are gearing up for an unbelievable weekend. We will be performing in the "Battle For Christ" semi-finals this Saturday at JFEST 2010. We begin performing at 10:30 am, so all of you need to come out and show Soulshine your best support. We need you guys to show up ready to rock with us. We need people who can shout, praise, jump, scream, and anything in between to show those judges we are for real!!! lol
We will have our merchandise table set up with new t-shirts, cd's, stickers, photos, and alot of Soulshine smiles!!!

Battle For Christ and JFEST 2010
Hey everybody......Soulshine just had an unforgettable weekend playing in the Battle For Christ sponsored by Legacy Productions and J103. There were 2 category's - Christian Rock and Contemporary Christian. There were a total of 8 bands competing, and out of the 8 only 2 get to go to the semi finals. SOULSHINE won the Contemporary Christian spot to go to JFEST 2010 to play at the semi finals on June 5th!!! Our friends Soul Gate 7 won the Christian Rock spot to open up for Decypher Down!
We are so excited and honored to have this priviledge. God is so good. There were so many talented bands there and we were sure someone else would win, but God decided to reign down a blessing on us this past Saturday.
